Behemoths_Resurrected

For hundred and sixty million years the dinosaurs ruled this world, over that time evolution produced some of the strangest, efficient, deadliest, and downright weird existed. Unfortunately, the movie star dinosaurs have taken up the spotlight but now it is time for the strange and weird to finally step into the light and take their rightful place among the greats.

Sixty-five million years ago volcanic ash darkened the sky leaving the once great giants dying on a sickly planet until their greatest downfall arrived from space. Smashing into earth an asteroid wiped out most species on earth. Now it is time to resurrect these behemoths.

The core idea of Behemoths Resurrected is to allow users to view the creature they selected living and breathing in front of them each one will have a pop up that gives basic information and underneath this will be five selectable options these are General, Size, Habitat, Diet and Hazards. Each option will change the image displayed to the viewer. Another option is a watch button which when pressed will display a video of the creature in action.

Features:

• AR/VR mix allowing the player to interact with the creatures while still being in their home
• Three different creatures from different time periods
• Different information ranging from a basic overview to very specific details like where the species fossils was most found, their diet and speculative hunting method and other details
• Each different creature will have an idle animation that loops but will change when the player interacts with them, example the Xiphactinus has an idle animation of it swimming but when touched will snap it’s jaws angrily and swim off before returning
• Each creature will have a different terrain base that matched its prehistoric environment ranging from ancient forests, grassy plains, and ocean depths

 

Note:  this project is in development, so there isn't much to show but you must know that due to unforeseen complications I was working blind on this project, I could only see the side bar UI and top bar UI so the fact that all of them work as they should while I couldn't see them is very impressive.
