About

Think Safe AR is an android application developed with the purpose of creating a more engaging and entertaining approach for work health & safety training. The experimental project has been developed specifically for the company Protech as they explore possible options on how to make more people “Think Safe” using advancing technology.

Use

Using augmented reality technology, users can gain knowledge by pointing the camera towards certain safety signs which will display relevant informational videos that have been created in collaboration with industry professional from Protech.

The application requires that the correct triggers/signs are used, if the physical sign isn’t accessible you may use a printable version or even display the triggers/signs off a computer screen. However, for the best possible viewing experience, the physical signs are recommended, other media sources such as printed paper signs may cause reflection due to the ink which will make the media positioning unstable.
